Chuck Norris's tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried.

I posted this in another thread just before you posted this question here, so I will pump up my miserab;le post count by double posting it.

She was on camera crying? About what?
That should END any Hillary talk. You cannot have a President crying, about ANYTHING. This looks like serious weakness to forign countries, SPECIFICALLY any run by Arabs. They don't take women seriously as it is, and as unfair as that may be, it is a Global Reality.

Didn't take long to get online.
Yeah, that's who you want as president.

You see, the thing you have to realize is that, being the Hall of Famer and World Champion that I am, I really don't know about all this soft and emotional stuff. With the Big Red Machine, we never had to worry about that mushy stuff becasue we were too busy winning. I do know that the only time I shed some tears is when some champagne was shot into my eye after one of our many many victory celebrations.

It's very tough for her. Her demeanor is scrutinized more because she is a women. She has to be tough without coming off as a bull dyke or a bitch. That matters to a lot of voters (not me but to many). The men running don't have that problem. She has to act like she's not trying to act. That's tough too.

I have a great deal of respect for her. I like Obama too. I'm still an undecided democrat.

Did you watch the debate Saturday on ABC? I was surprised how well all 4 democrat candidates did, especially Edwards who I've disliked for quite awhile now. Such a huge improvement in demeanor and tone compared to the fear mongering republican clan.

I saw it. It's funny, I thought they all came across well. We will have a democrat as our President. That's pretty clear to me.

I wonder if a democrat president and democrat house and senate will get along as famously well as out democrat Illinois senate and governor. Can you imagine if the US government was a woefully fucked as Illinois government?

Just on a side not I think Hillary looks younger. Maybe she had work done. But at the end of Billy's 2nd term she looked horrible. I guess 8 years as the 1st lady and Billy fucking everything in site will do that to you. But she looks better today than she did then.

I think it would be fun to have Billy back in the White House with nothing to do. He'd have the time of his life.

Rod is only 1/3rd the problem. No one in the house and senate can work together to put a budget in front of Rod in the first place. The Illinois senate does nothing until it's 11th hour, then only under complete duress. This transit funding is a great example of how none of these morons can work together.

I'm in the 51% who would never vote for Hilliary. But to be honest I think this moment is genuine.

The road is long when you start freakin' campaigning 4 years in advance. I remember when we were voting Kerry vs. Bush and the "Hilliary in '08" slogan had already started.

Being Illinois' lone republican (so it seems) I hope Hillary wins the nomination. I think that is the only way a republican will be able to win the presidency.

Unless she runs up against Huckabee or Thompson or Giuliani. I don't see anybody here voting for them. Maybe Giuliani might be close, but definitely not Huckabee (Too much of a "big taxer/spender" for financial conservatives, too religious for moderates) or Thompson (Zzzzzzzzzzzz).

To be fair she didn't actually shed a tear but it sounded like she was very close to having a few roll down. Part of me believes it may have been a stunt to try to appeal to women but I'm not sure. I think the media criticism is getting to her. She has gotten terrible advice from her advisors. At first she was trying to be tough but now they have her trying to show her soft side. Next it was the experience thing then it switched to change and now it is ready. The mistake she made was starting the general election before the primaries were over.

I think this was 100% staged after now seeing this on-line. It's all about her showing a softer image, appearing human.

We're alone together.
As republicans, our presidential votes mean jack shit in Illinois.
Generally they mean jack shit in Cook county too.
