I gave up booze. So far, so good. I had a glass of wine at a work dinner b/c I didn't want to get into it with my colleagues. couple of times after work I really could have really used a drink, but did not. I think I can safely say that I am not an alcoholic, yet. Unfortunately, I am just as tired and irritable as usual. Maybe I have a gluten intolerance.

Don't do the lent thing. I do give up for beer during tax season. I will be six weeks sober this Sunday. Though I will be an absolute shit show for March Madness. That's when I end my annual sober streak. |

Gave up all snacks,both afternoon and nighttime. Take the money I save and put it in envelope on Easter. I am doing real good.Only time I am tempted is watching Hawks games. I also am giving up booze and that is going well.I do see it being put to the test on St Patty's day weekend. |

No meat since Lent began. It's easier than I thought it would be. Wendy's has the best Fish Filet of any fast food restaurants. It's a shame they don't offer it year round. |

I gave up listening to Mully and Hanley. It's working out great since I never listen to them anyway. You don't think God will have the last laugh on that, do you? Usually I give up paying income tax, but that only works in certain years when Easter falls after April 15. Maybe sometime I should give up sarcasm. But what if after Lent is over I don't remember how to speak or write anymore? |
