Stolen from the Chris Webber thread: 1. 2003 NLCS Game 6 - 8th Inning. Watching that still gives me nightmares. It was like a neverending Panther post. 2. Phantom Foul 3. Blazers/Lakers Game 7 - I was pulling for the Blazers to knock off the Lakers and make the finals (Always hated Kobe/Shaq). What an epic collapse.. 4. Bulls/Heat Game 5 last year - I was at the game, and it looked like they were cruising to a win and surviving at least one more game. That was the worst collapse I have ever witnessed in person, so it makes my list. The arena was silent after the game as everyone was filing out. Honorable Mention - 2004 Cubs I left them off the list since this really isn't a moment. I would consider a moment a game or play and not an entire year. But if I had to name a single defining moment from that season, it would be the Sosa 5 strikeout game against the Mets during the final week of the season that they lost in extra innings. |
