As some may know, I can't stand Rozner. I am a loyal Daily Herald reader, but Rozner's opinions have annoyed me for years. I have tried to give examples of why I do not like him. Here is another case where one of his self-righteous articles just seems loaded with strawmen. My evidence: "The Cubs’ start to 2012 has been about as ugly as expected, and yet many are surprised." My comment- I ask, who is surprised? Is Vegas surprised? We all knew they would suck. They have one high quality position player on the team (Castro) and only one good starter (Garza). Dempster has been on the decline and the Jeff S has been a pleasant surprise. The rest of the roster is questionable at best, and any decent baseball fan knows it. "After Game 2, one would think that would be the end of the stories, emails, tweets and texts about how the Bulls are actually better off without the reigning MVP." My comment- Seriously? This point has already been debated on this board. No rational person thinks the Bulls are better without D-Rose. Many people think the Bulls are better than other NBA teams even without D-Rose, but not better when he is out. |
