Post subject:  Hey Guys

My church sends care packages to the troops over seas. The problem is most of the ones around here are rotating back home and we are running out of names. If you know of a service man/woman who is deployed overseas in a combat zone and would like for them to get a care package let me know so I can forward it to the lady running the program.

Hey,it is the least that can be done for those who protect us.
Read my Signature. I firmly believe that. During the First Gulf war I had a lot of friends who where over there. Most of them Marines. The most requested item:Hot Sauce because the MRE sucked. One of the guys was in a supply unit. We sent him stuff by the case. He sent back the green BDU that the troops where deployed with then where issued the Desert/Chocolate drops they where told to discard them. So,My friend traded what we sent him for the BDU. We all had BDU up the ass for a bout a year. Then when we invaded Iraq one of my female friends got deployed. I would send her all kinds of crazy shit, the rules for shipping where alot loser back then. Each month she was over there in her box would be 2-2liters of Dr. Pepper, Baby wipes, snack crackers and assorted other stuff.
I just buy whatever is on the list at church for them, the lady in charge when I asked her what we need said we only had one name. So I asked here. Looks like we got no patriots around these parts. Oh well.

Chas, you had the room until you went and did that. That is a really dumb thing to say.

How do you know who is involved with what charitable organizations?

I was messing round dude. Don't treat me like Jimmt Rearass.

You know who really pissed me off when I was trying to help out was the USO. My mom told me I had to get rid of all the books I was storing at her house. I called the USO and they told me they do not accept donations of used books.I was calling all over the place until the V.A. Hospital in Maywood told me they would take them. They also didn't think I was serious till I showed up with all of them ,lol
