Can someone explain the point of the X games to me? I get that it's impressive but when as a society did we decide that driving a snowmobile over jumps and drug addicted long haired hippies and using a snowboard on a street course was something we needed? I'm pretty sure that snowboards are pretty useless on a street in normal conditions and snowmobiling isn't a sport but a mode of transportation for injured people.

Some of the Snowboarding and Skiing events I'm entertained by. As far as racing a snowmobile around in a circle, that's one small step above Nascar

I can't explain the X-games to you but I saw that tribute they did for the snowboarder chick that died last week
and thought that was really classy and a cool way to say goodbye to her.

Honest question for the master debaters on the board:

When locked in the bitter grasp of another multi-page debate/argument/bitchfest with another board member, do you typically Google most of your counterpoints to help strengthen your argument? Or do you prefer to simply use the information in your head to continue the debate?

I've always considered the likes of Tall Midget to truly be the best at his craft because I am certain all the facts he spouts-off are things he actually knows. I even have a (very) limited respect for Brick in this regard, because he seems like a bright guy who retains a lot of useless stuff.

I tend to avoid the "bitter grasp" of the debates. At that stage, they really are pointless.
But, 90% of the time it's top of the head. Definitions are usually googled or wiki'd...or stats.
