Already been 18 years.

Not only is it Father's Day, it's O.J. Simpson day. On this day in 1994, O.J. provided one of the memorable days ever. #CatchTheKillerYet?

Had a turning point date that night scheduled, chose to order a Pizza and watch OJ all night.

Sure she hated me after that, but I am still happy I did it. Can't replicate that shit.

Some here probably didnt even get to really see the whole thing.

That was REALITY TV!

I remember them split-screening it. You could watch Starks and Cowlings driving at the same time.

I remember they put the NBA game in a small screen in the bottom of the picture. WHat would happen now if something like this happened? Would they really throw the OKC/Heat game in a small screen?

Little FF was pissed. I remember that. My dad was trying to explain the gravity of the situation to me and all I wanted to do was watch Hakeem. When MJ retired I thought he wasn't coming back and was going through a temporary hakeem obsession. I don't remember this but remember him telling me whenever it was brought up in the following years I kept trying to take the remote when he wasn't looking and try to turn off the car chase part of the split screen.

I was 24 and had surprised my father with a visit from Lubbock to Houston for Father's Day. Watching our beloved Rockets in the NBA freaking finals and then whaaaa? I WAS fascinated with the OJ story, but I saw NO reason that my dream team should have been relegated to corner square!! :x

Where did the last 18 years go?!?

I was 24 at the time too. I was still pissed about the Hue Hollins call. My gf at the time convinced me to turn it off and have sex with her instead. I miss her!

Viewership of the concert was significantly lower than expected due to the live coverage of the chase.

One of the more fascinating legal cases in history. Shit became so worked up that the case went from "Former pro murders two people" to "Black Guy vs. White LA Cops: Rodney King II - the Revenge."
