This is the anti-anti-gun thread. First and foremost, Starter jackets were the shit. All my friends had one, and almost everyone wanted the Charlotte Hornets turquoise jacket (pocket in the front). I was poor and liked bad baseball, so I had a White Sox one: Ken Griffey, Jr. was also the shit, and my holy grail was buying a pair of his Nike Air Griffey Max shoes (couldn't find a photo of the originals): ![]() The Bulls second championship was really the first one I remember watching with any real interest. I definitely had this shirt: Wait a minute... you mean my video game can talk to me?!? ![]() |

Just to show how cool I was, here is the awesome starter jacket I was rocking. Except I think mine was some knockoff that we got at the flea market. ![]() |

I had the originals back in 1988 in red, blk and white.... ![]() Couldn't find the right image but I was rocking a Miami Heat Starter jacket in 1990. Said Heat on the back and had the flaming ball going through the hoop on the front. Have a knit sweatter with this logo on the front of it from 1990 ( still have it and wear it in the fall ) ![]() Had this starter jersey circa 1992 ![]() |

These are the 3 favorite shoes I used to have before I realized it was way more hipster to rock some addidas or puma lows. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I love the character shirts. In addition to this I had a 89 bengals, 91 packers majik and the miracles, various bulls championship shirts and for some reason a detroit red wings championship with the octopus. Don't forget the Umbros!!! ![]() |
