So I had this dream last night that I was on a plane with two other nameless people. The plane was about to crash and we all knew it. We're plunging downward and the actual crash kind of happens in slow motion. I say "Wow. I actually heard the crash!" Then I immediately think "I can't believe that those will be my last words..."

I saw a fireball, my breath was shortened, flames overtook us, then I couldn't breathe, I shuddered, then everything went dark.

I jolted awake from the dream, genuinely surprised that I was actually alive.

It felt amazingly real.

Someone hold me.

Had an ex (Psycho) GF who made me go to dream classes with her, due to her nuttiness (Dreaming or not) , one thing I remember is that they said you will never actually die in a dream? Are they right?

He woke up before he could find that out.

Anyways, do you have her number? :P

I actually had a weird dream earlier this week. I rolled a person off the porch of my grandparents' house. Actually, it was my grandparents' old porch. Fucking freaked me out.

I know how you feel, and I'm not making light (maybe I am, but not at your expense).
On Tuesday, I had a dream that I was playing baseball. I was on 3rd base, and my teammate hit a shallow pop fly.
I tagged up to score, and it was so realistic that I apparently flung myself out of bed, headfirst into my dresser and almost concussed myself.
Scared the everloving shit out of my wife. She asked me what the hell happened, did I fall or trip?
I calmly said "No, I was just trying to win the game".
I think it might be a combination of me quitting drinking/new meds I am on, but my dreams are crazy realistic lately.
I had a dream not too long ago that I was alone in a tiny bar, and Josh Homme was playing a solo acoustic set, and he was naked.
Big flacid schlong.
:? :? :?

I'll have to pay attention next time but I think I've died in my dreams. I can't really describe death as I've never experienced obviously but in my dreams I'm often in perilous situations where I die. Hit the ground after falling, drown, etc.

I always wake up before I hit the ground in falling dreams.

A lot of those dreams, for me, are where I just feel like I'm falling.

I most definitely died in that dream. I was really shocked when I woke up. I really felt like I knew what it'd feel like to die. It was creepy.

I'm not an expert in dream analysis or anything but I'm pretty certain this means you were unhappy with Mike Tice last season.

Shouldn't you be preparing something romantic?

Yeah V, I've had dreams like that. They are quite profound. After you finally wake up, it takes a few minutes to re-acclimate and figure out what happened. In those few minutes, the experience of the dream is very surreal, and when you finally snap out of it, it still feels like something real actually happened.

I'm no paranormal kook or anything, and I know there are (more or less) scientific explanations for these things, but I'm not entirely convinced that what we perceive on a daily basis represents our entire existence.

The worst are those sex dreams where you wake up and spend the next twenty minutes desperately trying to reenter, in a manner of speaking.

This reminds me of this scene from MallRats:

Quote:
Brandie: Second suitor, would you ever make whoopie in public?
Brodie: I already did once today! But my cousin Walter jerked off in public once. True story. He was on this plane to New Mexico when all of the sudden the hydraulics went. The plane starts spinning around, going out of control, so he figures it's all over and whips it out and starts beating it right there. So all the other passengers take a cue from him and they start whipping it out and beating like mad! So all the passengers are beating off, plummeting to their certain doom, when all of the sudden, the hydraulics kick back in. The plane rights itself and they land safely and everyone puts their penises or, whatever, you know, away and deboard. No one mentions the phenomenon to anyone else.
Gill: Well, did he cum, or what?
Brodie: Jesus Christ, man! There's just some things you don't talk about in public!

I KNOW. I could probably name every girl I've enjoyed a dream with.

The Croatian girl in 6th grade. My Asian friend freshman year of high school. The cheerleader a year later. The second chair oboe at Illinois on top of a washing machine ...
