Lots of really low scoring out there, I am a little surprised but conditions must be perfect. Tiger and Rory neck and neck but Tiger at -3 and Rory at -2 thru 13. Leader is Paddy Harrington at -7 and is finishing up round right now. |

Paddy Harrington is just a cool guy. His swing coach is some old coot in Ireland that runs a driving range and apparently knows all the secrets of the golf swing. |

I didn't think they would have it U.S. Open tough, but I expected more than this. |

I have Nick Watney. He's -6 thru 17. I feel pretty good about my pick this week. |

Tiger beat Rory. Tournament over. Just hand over the FedEx Cup. |

I've decided to refer to anything Tiger does in absolutes. Just easier this way. |

Vijay Singh out to a quick start. I guess conditions are supposed to kick up a bit today and maybe bring some of the leaderboard back to the field. I will likely watch quite a bit of this over the weekend. |

I can't wait until Tiger tees off later today. He's going to capture the championship of the universe. |

Harrington dropping like a rock. Watney currently leading at -8 with others like Garcia and some other guys you've never heard of making some half hearted runs. Rory and Tiger have dropped off the pace to -1. |

Tiger's 76 on Sunday was the third-worst final round of his career. He should probably just quit. Golf is obviously too hard for him. |

man, those greens were ridiculous over the latter part of the weekend. Anyone ever played that course, I would love to give it a shot one day, but I hear you gotta be there at 5am and then you enter a lottery where you may or may not get a tee time. How are the other courses there? I bet that would make a great golf weekend. |

Sergio was about to tee off, and decided that he wanted a different club, due to the increase of the wind speed. The crowd really gave it to him. One would think that with all of that money on Long Island, somebody could buy some class. |

This isn't exclusive to this weekend's tournament, but the gallery needs to stop yelling 'Get in the hole' after somebody tees off on a 500 yard hole. Anybody who does this, should be beaten with a 9 iron repeatedly. |

I really don't understand the popular opinion that New York sports fans are the "greatest fans on the planet". Being loud and annoying is not being "passionate" and "honest"; its just being loud and annoying. Philly knows what I'm talking about. |

Many sports media outlets, especially ESPN, perpetuate this fallacy on an almost daily basis. |

So who do you consider to be the greatest sports fans on the planet? |

I'm dissapointed that no one caught my use of a Barkley gif in this thread... ...or that it just wasn't that good of a pun. |
