I'm in the market for a new mattress and wanted to know with which brands you guys have been happiest. Carson's is having a huge sale so this seems like a good time to pull the trigger on a new one. I like a very firm mattress, but the last two I've bought have been a disappointment. One was a Stearns & Foster which was supposed to be a "Never Flip" but after a short time needed to be flipped weekly, and the one I have now is a Simmons Beautyrest that can't be flipped but has to be rotated weekly. Consumer's Reports recently have a piece about mattresses and their Top 5 were: 1. Tempur-pedic 2. Original Mattress Factory 3. Sleep Number (Select Comfort) 4. Ikea 5. Denver Mattress I've never tried any of those. Simmons was #6 and Stearns & Foster was last at #11. |

I have recently bought a Sealy-Posturepedic Luxury Hotel Series King Size Bed. It is awesome and I have never slept better in my life, even better than in college when I was high on coke and a chick just sucked my dong. My neck pain is gone, back pain is gone and I don't feel like a 60 yr old fossil every morning. |

I was initially happy with the last two I bought but after a couple of months I was as despondent as Bernstein in a room full of people enjoying themselves. |

Memory foam and all of the other hi tech mattress stuffing's. I've had it for about 4 months or so and I'm feeling more like BernSTINE after the death of Joe Paterno. |

I have a Sealy with memory foam and my back still hurts like Bernstein after a Penn State football win. |

We recently had to buy 3 sets of queen mattresses for kids going off to College. Go to the Macys Furniture outlet in Schaumburg on Golf Road & ask for the Mattress lady. She will teach you everything you need to know about Mattresses. You'll get a great deal too. |

Just get a hammock. I suggest Mary Ann's Hammocks, the good part about that place is that Mary Ann will jump in the hammock with you. |
