Was anyone affected by the tainted gas that BP sent out nearly a month ago? Have you filed a claim yet?

I got some gas at the BP on Schmale and St. Charles in Carol Stream on August 16th. 2 days later, my truck wouldn't start until about the 9th or 10th try, and even then I had to pump a little gas to it so it would stay on... I thought something was up with a starter or alternator (shows my knowledge of cars... :oops:

), but I took it into the shop, and they couldn't find anything wrong except to say that I must have received some bad gas....and this was before it was all over the news.

So I checked that website above, and the gas station I went to is on the list.

You all be sure to check it out, and make sure you weren't affected too.

There's a BP at Harlem and Division that is always like 50cents over the market and is always out of gas. what's up with that? I think its some kind of drug laundering business.

huh... i go to bp all the time still. not because i want to, theyre definitely low on my pride list but so is all oil. but my truck always runs so good on their gas... bp is always the best gas i find. whatever additives they use, it works.

my local station is not on the list either. now, contrast that to pdq stores. ive had my truck almost stop running because their water is so hard to burn
