It was Stern by a wide margin until the Donaghy thing. Now they're all very flawed |

Why is it just baseball gets blamed for steroids, it was a huge NFL problem and probably still is, but nobody talks about it. Not trying to be a ass either, just never have understood that. |

Agree with rpb. Even before last night I've been leaning towards Goodell is the worst though. |

Much more so than any sport people can rattle off Pete Rose career hits, Randy Johnson strike outs etc, home run record prior to McGwire/Sosa etc. |

The answer to that question has been the Commissioner of the NBA since 1984. Even though he sounded like an ass during the league's most recent lockout in an interview with Jim Rome, David Stern has been the measuring stick for the best boss in pro sports. |

No one thinks it's Bettman Selig oversaw the steroid era as well as making the ASG decide home field advantage Stern has corrupted officials throwing games as well as oversaw multiple teams losing their ass in terms of profits. |

You're right, SHARK. The Jim Rome looking Van Smack AKA Pimp in the Box put Stern in check. Rack em |

What has Gooddell done? Gotten tough on crime? Ok. That hasnt really improved anything. Sure it made some middleaged white guys happy, but the game remains the same. Spygate is a pretty bad thing to have happen. |

One thing that should be taken into account is degree of difficulty. In terms of revenue and league interest, Goodell has had a significantly easier job than the other three, despite what Jorr might say. |

If you're looking for the Worst Commissioner in Pro Sports, the NHL's Gary Bettman & MLB's Allan H. "Bud" Selig are in the team photo. |

People voting for Stern are forgetting the outrage with the referee scandal as well as the NBA lockout. The NFL stuff is fresh in your mind. |

Who is this Gary character? Is he the grand wizard of NASCAR or something? BTW, the first line is a movie line from an 80's movie. Name it and Ill admire you. |

Bettman and Selig are the only ones who's leagues haven't been seriously compared to the WWE. |

I don't think NASCAR has a Commissioner. President Mike Helton might be the closest thing to one there. Boogity! Boogity! Boogity! |

Why aren't the refs getting any of the blame for this lockout? They are part time employees making 150k a year demanding a pension. Plenty of blame for both here. Roger's do a great job growing the game domestically, internationally and at least attempting to standardize the punishment system. |

Goodell is awful. And FF, more people would rip the NHL and compare it to wrestling, if they knew it existed. Id say playing Chicken with ESPN and losing is enough to ensure a 4th place finish for Mr. Bettman |

That's part of this that no one's talking about in this NFL Officials' Lockout. All of these guys have other jobs to put food on the table, sort of speak. To my knowledge, while the regular officials work once a week, they've NEVER been full time and I'm not sure the NFL's about to change it now. |
