Why don't you give us the answer to that one so we have a basis of comparison? |

If I might be immodest for a moment, I'm typically really great at this sort of thing, but I'm befuddled ... I'm also raging pissed at something completely unrelated, so perhaps too many brain-cycles wasted on fuming at the moment. Also, what the hell is "Language Arts"? Is that fancy talk for English class? Seriously; sounds to me like the sort of nonsense that would allow some asswipe to raise Ebonics or hillbilly gibberish to a level of 'cultural treasure'. Back to the lesson at hand ... apologist makes a fine request ... give us an example or two, which might give us the mental inertia we need. |

I kinda liked the whole "floats" thing .... don't they all float? ... very small rocks, churches ... A DUCK ... |

Don Tiny wrote: Still dopey - not you, the name ... skip it. Back in District 23, we had English, reading, and spelling all under the umbrella of "language arts." I didn't really mind. The branch thing seems kind of superficial. I mean, there are "branches" of science, I guess, but "branches" of college? Not really. |

I could see someone arguing there are branches of college .... different disciplines (e.g., music, econ, language, biology, etc). And I suppose some colleges have other physical branches (e.g., UofI Chicago). |
