I hate myself for this but I think its Football, Basketball then Baseball for me. Which is a bummer because of how much I loved baseball growing up but watching the Cubs takes it out of you. |

When I was a shorty, it was Baseball-Basketball-Football....probably because I was so scrawny and scary, the thought of playing football and getting hit terrified me. I loved baseball as a kid.....nothing was even close....I used to get happy when ESPN used to show SEC baseball games back in the day around late Feb/early March when it was still freezing here in Chicago. Now, it's football by a mile, then basketball, then baseball....maybe once the Cubs get back into contention again. Edit: Sounds like me and Phil have similar stories. |

Basketball first. Football last. Watched too many Cubs games as a kid as we didn't have cable and the games were on every day. I developed an emotional attachment to baseball. Never had an emotional attachment to football. |

Football is neither a complicated nor dynamic sport for fandom so it is designed to appeal to the masses. Baseball requires more patience and sophistication. |
