This is easily the most fascinating story I've found on the internet in a long time.

John McAfee is the creator of the antivirus software bearing his name. According to an article on Gizmodo.com yesterday, McAfee is "on the run from murder charges" in Belize. After reading a bit more into his story, being accused of murder is just the beginning.

He's also involved in researching MDPV, otherwise known as the drug "bath salts". He loves the "hypersexuality" it provides him so much that he actually moved to a jungle in Belize to "research" the East African plant khat. His preferred method of injecting MDPV? Putting it on his index finger and inserting it into his rectum. He calls the process "plugging":



After moving to Belize, McAfee gets sexually involved with no less than 7 women, many of whom live with him. Many of the women have regular boyfriends/husbands who also live in the compound. Apparently this is an accepted practice in Belize.

McAfee begins publishing a three-part story on a private message board detailing this whole situation. He entitles the story "Darkness Falls". Fucking weird.

Over time McAfee begins to realize many of the women have ties to a powerful gang and drug cartel (of course). The story goes on from there.

Sure, we've seen the main theme of this story before. But the fact that he has openly published everything in real-time (or close to it) is pretty interesting.

He also shill bids eBay auctions.
