Yeah, I agree. Ugly sweaters are immediately obvious and almost universally accepted as much (like less than 1% disagree type unanimous).

I would hear arguments suggesting that, on that guy, it's ugly because the guy himself induces unpleasant dreams that would make Vietnam vets openly weep.
