I think it is a no brainer he isnt a first rounder and if his story doesnt start checking out, I am not sure he gets drafted at all. You would assume someone sits down with him and tells him he needs to come clean on everything and convince everyone of it, but he hasnt yet. |

Forgot where I heard it today but an unnamed NFL scout said "We'll take you if you killed somebody, just don't lie to us". He's fucked. The amount of locker room shit he will get will make it very hard for him to succeed. If he comes clean, who knows. |

I assume someone is working on the explanation, but it better be the same and honest as can be. If he convinces someone, I think he is a 3rd rounder. He isnt that big either. |

If character were that much of a factor in the draft, there would be no draft. I'm sure he will be fine. |

He will play in the NFL, and will be drafted in the 1st 2 rounds, in my opinion. |

He will be drafted by a fantasy team, which then will fold. |

I think it'll scare off some teams but I think they'll be at least a dozen willing to overlook this if they have him as an otherwise highly rated player. I agree with Hawg and KS that he'll go in the first two rounds. |

He may slip some in the draft, but some team is going to take him and going to get a real good football player. |

Peoria Matt wrote: The amount of locker room shit he will get will make it very hard for him to succeed. That was my initial thought also. I'm not as concerned about whatever character issue this leads into -- I would imagine that the taunting would become pretty brutal if he doesn't start performing as a #1 draft pick right out of the gate. I'd say this possibly drops his draft status somewhat, but I still would be surprised to see him fall out of the first round. He had 7 picks as a LB this year -- that shows that he can cover; he averaged around 9 tackles a game also; I can't imagine teams letting him drop completely off the charts unless there is concern of some sort of jail time for whatever went on. |

Would you like to review the sociopathic behavior of players drafted in the first few round last year? He is a 2-3 rounder right now. If he has a good combine he is back in the first round. That scout is blowing smoke hoping that teams avoid him and his team gets him AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, F U CHUS, you repackaged my joke and used it as your own |

Forget the catfish crap. Anyone who watched the Alabama game wouldn't take him in the first round. He has to put up very good combine numbers to make the second round. |

Whatever team draft's him will have to deal with the media frenzy and possible fan outrage that he was drafted. I'm sure that have some weight when it is draft time. No one wants another Tim Tebow issue. |

I can't really see this nonsense significantly affecting his draft stock. There might be a team or two that will shy away, but if you like him as a player, you're not going to let him fall precipitously. |

There is a big white elephant in the room about Teo if he's telling the truth. I don't know if he is gay, and I wouldn't care if he was but it's a pretty common belief that professional football is not ready for an openly gay player. I'm not saying it is right but NFL locker rooms aren't the most welcoming of places. In reality, the best way to save his draft stock is to admit he was in on it from the start and then start dating a C level celebrity. |
