Speigel may or may not be a douche. Truth be told, I haven't listened to the show much lately, but when I did I would not have called him a phony. He didn't hide behind something or pretend to be anything other than Meatpants. The same cannot be said of Loho.

Spiegel: He's basically everything that he hates about Bernstein. I hear him lecture Bernstein on not being a scumbag jack ass. Meanwhile, Spiegel is a scumbag jack ass. Bernstein is proud of it. Spiegel is in denial of it. He probably does have issues as Score employee Buster has suggested. This probably goes back to him being obese his entire life. Maybe the obesity was because of the emotional issues. Now the emotional issues are because of the obesity. It's a vicious cycle. Either way, he's a sensitive bitch. That's for sure. He likes to piss on people below him as we saw with drinky. This makes him feel good about himself. That's wrong because he only has his current position because of Mac. I don't care if he did sporting news radio. Once he got fired over there, had it not been for Mac, he'd be out of the radio bizz. Or, at best, have some low level position like an update boy at some shit station somewhere. He certainly wouldn't have a day-part radio show in the 3rd largest market in the country

Larry: More of a snake in the grass where Spiegel is the snake hissing in plain view. Larry is a phony. A pleasant, ass-kisser to those that can advance his career (Hi Uncle Teary, hi Dan, it' really, really, really, really great to see both of you.) A jack ass to anybody else. (Walks away after Big Fan extends his hand. Walks away from Spmack after Larry realized the girl he was hitting on was Spmack's date.) Larry is gonna back stab anybody in his way. He'll bad mouth you once your out of town. He's a low-down dirt bag. He's oily.

They are both people with big time issues. Both are people you don't want to meet or be around.

Spiegal had a job at Sporting News for a decade. He wasn't getting fired and if he was he would find work.
