Who in the hell watches a fake sport like wrestling?

Wrestling isn't exactly fake. On one level sure they have fake punches, it is staged in terms of takedowns and such and they pretend to yell at each other. But there is a lot that they do that someone could break their neck doing. There is even the possibility of concussions and serious injury from things like being hit by a chair.

Who in the hell watches a fake sport like wrestling? The same folks who watch tractor pulls, monster trucks & bull riding.

Maybe as much as a soap opera tries to. There is no ending...they constantly have to rework things to keep people interested...gimmicks galore. It was already bad when I was watching from like 1995-2000 or so...seems worse now.

IMu, when wrestling is good and done correctly it does tell a story and follow a plot like a Soa Opera. The thing is nowadays because most Americans have the attention span of a hyperactive hummingbird the storytelling takes a backseat most times. Some really good storytelling from the past couple of years I can think of C.M. Punk winning the belt then quitting the company(Should have lasted a few more months) Nexus A.J. Lee rise and fall SO far Aces and Eights Joseph Park looking for his brother and becoming a wrestler Austin Ares rise from X Division Champ to main eventer/World Champ and his current story with Bobby Roode.
