Which do you think is the best per price and TV service between UVerse, Comcast, DirecTV and Dish?

Find out which one Keeping Score has and choose one of the other two.

They're all expensive. Comcast is alright, that's what I got. UVerse has the wireless boxes, which is nice. DirectTV has the genie, which is hot.

I have had Comcast going on 25 years. I forgot what it was called before Comcast. In all that time,my cable TV has hardly ever gone out for any length of time. I pay about 125 a month which includes phone, internet and Cable with one DVR with HD ( No premium channels)

Growing up, I remember it being TCI Cable. I think it was AT&T Cable or SBC Cable prior to Comcast.

I currently have UVerse with 4 boxes and the TV service portion of the bill is almost $100 because it's $21 to rent 3 of their boxes every month.

Isn't DirecTV's biggest perk that every subscriber gets NFL Sunday Ticket?

Your'e right. TCI begat AT&T, which begat Comcast.

KRAMER: What are you doing this for? Look at you..

JERRY: Quiet. I'm trying to get a picture.

KRAMER: But you don't have to do this! This guy is waiting in my house.

JERRY: (Pleading) Leave me alone.

KRAMER: It's a one-time fee. A hundred and fifty bucks. Why live like this?!

JERRY: I'm not getting illegal cable!

KRAMER: Oh, so what are you gonna do? You gonna wait for the cable companies to resolve their dispute? They're gonna be in court for years.

JERRY: No, I read in the paper..

KRAMER: (Sarcastic) Oh, oh, the paper..

JERRY: Well, they might hook us up again.

KRAMER: Oh, God, you're so naive! All the cable companies care about is the "Big Mammoo." (Jerry wacks the TV) Oh, look at you! You're banging things.. Pathetic. Just wasting your life. I'm offering you fifty-six channels - movies, sports, nudity. And it's free! For life!

JERRY: Stop shouting! You're ruining the reception.

KRAMER: Can you hear yourself? Can, can, do you know what you're saying?!

JERRY: What you're suggesting is illegal.

KRAMER: It's not illegal.

JERRY: It's against the law.

KRAMER: Well, yeah.

Dish Network is by far the best value.

How is the service?

I have friends with Dish Network and they say the signal is terrible.

Bump

I am thinking of doing things with my current tv service, just wondered for people that have Directv, do they make difficult if you want to cancel their service, thinking of going with Comcast.

My signal is great. Hardly ever goes out. Getting someone to come out to the house for service is tough as they want to try to troubleshoot everything over the phone. Just tell them that you will cancel if they don't send someone out & they send him ASAP. Dish isn't known for their service, but no TV provider is. Comcast is annually rated as one of the worst service companies in the country. Dish is the cheapest & offers numerous packages with a ton of channels. Also, the new DVR Hopper is great plus it skips commercials while recording.

a good home made ota antenna gives you 12mb high definition tv for a good 14 channels +, and pay $8 for netflix. if you cant find enough to watch after that, go outside and bury your head in the mud.
