This is free feedback for producers and on air people. For the life of me I can't figure out why they wouldn't use this site more than they do. I can understand not posting much, but if somebody offered me feedback from my customers directly, and all I had to do was read a website for an hour a week, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Especially when you consider how small the WSCR listening audience really is. The good people on this site make up a sizable portion of that audience. For people at the station to shit all over this site really is stupid.

I find it very precious that he refers to goofs that flap their gums on the radio as "personalities".

ACcording to the last ratings, B&B were at 170K, Jurko & Carmen were at 120K.

Biggest difference here is that the majority of us are "P1", in that we listen longer than just our time spent in the car.

Maybe not sizable, but free-- and for the most part, HONEST-- feedback should never be denied.

Exactly. The Score treating board members like shit is equivalent to a team shitting on its season ticket holders and worrying about the guys that come to maybe a handful of games a year.

I just become amazed when people claim how important this message board is in the grand scheme of things.
I swear that some people think that the programmers first thoughts are about how their strategies and moves will be accepted here, rather than by ratings or, most importantly, sales.

But that goes to the point BRick made about how it's a little easier on Score guys who actually post here. If Laurence registered and started an Ask Laurence thread, there would be a handful of Gloopan types who would just talk shit with no purpose, but I bet the majority of responses would be purposeful questions and probably a lot of actual substantive constructive criticism.

I didn't say that...but, you can't argue that the board represents the cross section of listeners quite well. Every race, both genders, weirdos, crazies, lawyers...Beardown.

Thereby being an excellent free resource. That is undeniable.
