Post subject:  Depart. Of Labor question- need to file a claim

I was fired from my job, and i feel part of the reason was because one of the employees there worked for free. i cant compete making $20/hr. yes, it was the bosses mom, but she worked 21+ hours a week and she handled the phones, scheduling and money. and im certain she is collecting SS because it was always VERY hush hush that she didnt receive a paycheck. We were specifically instructed to not tell anyone she worked there.

so who do i call? where do i start?

Call whatever agency you have to and report her ass.

No one.

Your life and time is too important to waste on anything other than your future.

That sucks, Ike. That is, if you really wanted to keep that job. Wasn't yours the one that recently instituted some crappy timekeeping system that you suspected was to get rid of the other guy? You did say you passed the drug test, were you the target all along? I hope it turns out as a good thing in the long run for you.

yes, this is the timesheet job. there are a few other violations of law, including an unposted microphone, but im focusing on this first because its the most important.

this is a guy who does no wrong, and he is always right. even when proven wrong, there is an excuse that actually makes him right somehow.

with the timesheets, i dont think i was the target all along. the boss fired me on a whim, very hasty decision on his part. everything was fine for 6 months, then we get in one disagreement and he fires me. but his reasoning was that "he knew i didnt like him, and he can do this himself now"

just 3 weeks ago, he told me how surprised he was that i got done in 4 months what he thought would take a year.

and, i was hired to be a manager, but since his mom was working out so well i never got those responsibilites. and like he said, now at this point he doesnt even need me so he just said bye.

basically, i spent 6 months bringing his whole shop in order- from re-wiring all of the lighting, adding outlets and running all the network cable. building shelves and organizing the whole shipping room, building his entire ebay store with over $1500 in sales already, ALL while doing daily orders too (fixing things for large profits!)

but work got slower and slower, because i already did everything around the shop and he turned a ton of work down because "there wasnt enough profit potential". fuckin idiot. oh yeah, i also taught him quite a few things- but he did teach me things too so i consider that a wash.

i dont want to do this because of what happened to me, i want to do this because of whats happening to everyone else there.

the other tech is getting sued by the boss because his gf called the bosses sister a whore. 7k in damages he claims. this tech gets paid $15/hr and boss limits him to 30 hours a week even though he has child support to pay. the boss treats that guy like total shit, and it just ate me alive while i was there because that guy is a great tech and great person.

there was so many times that boss insulted me personally that i should have choked to death on my own tounge blood by now, but i handled that while i was there. but he is a complete piece of shit, and he doesnt deserve to get away with anything because he holds everyone else to the exact minute fraction of the letter of every law and rule. seriously guys, this guy needs to be put in his place and im in the position to do it. and im not afraid to like everyone else is.

Exactly. Fuck this guy and his whore mom and slut girlfriend.

Hit whatever crystal you got left and stick this jerkoff. Wait until he's off work, fuck his car up or fuck him up or both.

Just do it.

Yeah, I agree, only one way to solve this really...

Set the shop on fire.

i watched him bring a street cop into the shop so he can file a report for identity theft. the cops asked what was stolen, and he said a .com name was taken from him. the cop just laughed inside and left.

i wouldnt do things like that, im not crazy in real life like i am on this forum.

but it would be hard anyway. he has 10 cameras in the shop, and 10 cameras in his house. all of them can be seen from his cellphone at any time, anywhere in the world. and mic'd up too. he literally sits at work and watches his wife around the house as if hes on a voyer porn site. it is the creepiest thing ive ever witnessed in real life to be honest.

he also, and i quote directly, asked me "is it legal to put a camera in the bathroom?"

i didnt even know what to say to him... that was really the last moment i believed there was a shred of man in him.

I don't envision he would get in trouble for having his mother work for free.

This guy sounds like a total jagoff and a loser.

It would be pretty awesome if you did some sweet revenge stuff like fuck his wife at a time when he is watching her on camera and then shoot a load on the camera.

That would be sweet.

he is. i have had tons of jobs and worked with hundreds of people in my life, and i normally dont like talking down about people that are out of my life, but, this guy? he is a grade-a tried and true pile of shit. i really have zero respect for him. im surprised i played the game good enough to keep him happy for 6 months...

i know his favorite resturaunt at least, and i know when he goes. i think i might just start going there at the same time and talk really loud and say incredibly stupid things. it would piss him off beyoned his control :)
