I was at an improv club. The format for this club was different in that instead of people throwing out topics to people on stage, people on stage would throw out topics to the crowd and then pass the mic around the room for ad libbed standup. It was kind of like karaoke stand up. Anyway, the mic came around to me a couple of times. I got some good laughs and seemed to be a crowd favorite. Then the MC threw out the topic of manboobs. Eventually the mic came around to me and I absolutely killed it for 15 minutes of off the cuff comedy. I went through a range of jokes from heredity, evolution, that pathetic twat from Girls, cubby chasing women, etc. One topic just flowed into another and I was bringing down the house. It was one of those dreams that seem completely absurd and funny and that you are aware of its humor in your conscious mind even as it plays out in the unconscious. I felt happy about the whole thing when I woke up.

I have a little bit of a fever which is always a trigger for my most vivid dreams.

Had a strange one last night.

It was dark, and my fiancee and I were swimming in Lake Michigan at a beach downtown. There were other people there too, it was like a big party but it was dark out. I remember looking up and seeing a Southwest Airlines jet flying around. A few minutes later, that same plane was trying to make a landing at Meigs Field. In my dream, the airport was still there. It landed, then started to slide and it became clear that the runway was too short, so what it looked like was that the pilots tried to take off again. The plane got airborne, banked left and rolled, then hit the water upside down and came to rest on one of the breakwaters. I took my cellphone out and called 911 while people from the plane-- who were all Asian for some reason-- were running back to us on the shore along the pier and breakwater. At that point I woke up.
