Madonna's older brother lives on the streets in Traverse City, Mich. and claims his billionaire sister "doesn't give a s*** if I'm dead or alive." Anthony Ciccone has been homeless for nearly two years after losing his job at the family's winery.
"I'm a zero in their eyes; a non-person, an embarrassment," says Ciccone of his family. "If I froze to death, my family probably wouldn't know or care about it for six months." Though he admits to the Daily Mail Madonna paid for him to have a two-month rehab stint in Texas six years back. Ciccone has undergone treatment for alcoholism on multiple occasions, but proudly recalls a time he smoked a joint with his superstar sister, Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Iggy Pop.

Ciccone claims he's not out for Madonna's money, but instead wants something more personal from his younger sibling. "My sister's a multi-millionaire but she earned it," he says. "I have to give her credit for that. But you'd think there'd be some more family loyalty, and that's not the case." So, what does he want? "Just to communicate would be nice."
Ciccone says the last time he saw his sister she was stepping out of a limousine at a premiere, as he joined a crowd of onlookers then spent the night with vagrants. Meanwhile Madonna's MDNA tour recently pushed her bank account over the line into billionaire status.
The estranged siblings' father, Tony Ciccone, Sr., has offered to give Anthony his job back if he will seek professional help, but so far he has refused, saying "My family seem to think rehab is some kind of magic panacea for life's ills."

Let's say,he wasn't an abuser. Let's say he is just a 9-5 guy with a wife & kids and a mortgage. That bitch can't slip her brother a million and tell him to take it easy?

I would think a winery is probably a bad place for an alcoholic to be working. Just sayin...

I had a cousin who died because he couldn't handle himself at the family business (drinking establishment). The last few years of his life his parents paid him (pretty sure) to stay home & stay sober but eventually got sick (from alcholol abuse catching up to him) & died.

Madonna may have helped him out 15 times before. We don't know that. Maybe she said if you start drinking again, we are end communicado!

In all honesty though, I could not care less about this.

Rich people who help out their families tend not to be rich anymore. Ask Antoine Walker.

Unbelievable. Truly.

No, jimmy. I am not looking at or tasting my sister. This isn't Wisconsin.

Interesting choice of words. In any case, no thank you. I don't buy lottery tickets so I don't "deserve" a taste. It'd be akin to her wanting a piece of my 401(k) when we retire. I'll have money in it, while she spent hers on lottery tickets.

Not even a drop.

It sounds like they are trying to help him the best way they know how.

This is my take on this situation. The line between helping and enabling is a fine one. I'm sure there have been a number of attempts made to help. But as is the case with most people with addictions, if the individual is not willing to make the changes needed they cannot really be helped. I highly doubt that his family doesn't care about him as he says. They just don't care to continue to enable his addictions.

Some people will never be satisfied no matter what you do. That being said if I had that type of money my ungrateful immediate family would never be homeless.

Guessing a long long line of help has been provided from numerous sources.

Sounds like he's homeless by choice. Theyve offered him his job back but he doesnt want to go to rehab ( no, no, no) . So fuck him, he basically is making it sound like I want to be able to be a fucking drunk with an unlimited supply of cash and no responsibility. Like W. Or Arthur Bach.
