I know a lot of people get excited for The Masters so here is the thread this year. My parents, brother and his wife are there today so I will get a report as to conditions. I guess today is supposed to be 80 and sunny. As usual I am sure the place will be beautiful but I guess it was unusually warm there early this year and my dad was wondering if the flowers would bloom too early. Anyway lots of great storylines going in with Tiger on the rebound and maybe he'll finally be back if he can win this tournament. Be curious to know who anyone is picking in their fantasy leagues and why, maybe Chus is making some wagers as well. |

I'm looking forward to it. It's one of my favorite weekends to do nothing... |

I think it comes down to Rory and Phil on Sunday. Tiger finishes top 10, but doesn't win. Ha Ha Ha |

I don't think Tiger is going to fold like he has recently in most of the Majors. I just think there are going to be 4-7 guys who play a lot better than him in Augusta, particularly over the weekend. |

Here's a question for you, how much would you pay to play Augusta? Also, how much would you pay just to have a ticket to the Masters and be able to walk the course? I would say without hesitation that I would pay $1000, maybe even $2000 to play. And I would pay $200 just to be there and walk the course. |

I'd consider paying $1500-2000 to play a round there if that number included my flight and 1 nite hotel stay. |

Part of me would never want to play the course. I can't explain why exactly, but I feel its mystique would be lost if I played a single shot. I prefer it to remain unattainable in my mind. |

Scored practice round tix a few years ago. Roadtripped down through ATL and played some stellar courses on the way. Never saw the course - woke up to a torrential downpour and the first-ever cancellation at Augusta. Still pissed. |

Thanks for posting Chus. I'd love to see Garcia make a run at it and is playing better this year but I am surprised he is that high up on the list. Couple of the better values on there in my opinion would be McDowell and Harrington. I catch some Euro golf at the health club on the treadmill and Harrington has been playing well this year overseas. I'd absolutely LOVE to see Stricker make a run at a green jacket but only has two top 10s there in his career. |

It's sad that I actually thought "I'd throw a few bucks on Tom Watson" and then realized that would just be stupid. |
