Is that the name of your group that goes around rating waffle houses' breakfasts and writing reviews nobody reads?

E. 1999 Eternal is a top 10 all time album
it's that good, and very unique

everything else is extremely hit or miss

I was really only into them during their E1999 album. Reminds me of the Summer of 1995, being 16 and working at Wendy's with my cousin. Good times. His mom (my aunt) worked for the Airlines and would be gone for days at a time, so it was like we were teenage bachelors living it up without much supervision.

there's no filler on there at all - no song completely sucks
it was a very unique album, weren't 100 different rappers doing that style at the time
a lot of the lyrical content is really clever i think

as i said, subsequent albums had a few decent songs here or there, but nothing close to E 1999

Did your Wendy's have a Super Bar?

E. 1999 is a classic hip hop album. Nothing like it before, and nothing came close afterwards.

And for the record, Art of War (1997) and Resurrection (2000) are also great albums in their own right, but still don't come close to touching E. 1999.

And Kamps the summer of '95, we were ALL listening to First of the Month. Shit, I even grew my hair out in tribute to BTNH. I had cornrows for four years.

Art of War MIGHT have been great had it been pared down to a single album from two

I believe so...this was 17 years ago and I was usually kept in the back. :D

True. Way too much filler on Art of War. The good stuff was really good, but there was a lot of stuff on there that could have easily been scrapped. Did not need a double CD.

Outkast never did much for me aside from some select songs.

i never said that

Bone has 1 undeniably classic album (E1999)
Outkast has at least ATLiens, Aquemini & Stankonia....and depending on your opinion (not mine) possibly a few others

there's no comparison in terms of consistency

Sorry. I've tried Ivan. Like I said, it's not like I dislike Outkast. They just never connected with me like that. But there was some good stuff on Aquemini. Da Art Of Storytellin is great, for instance.

One of my friends did a science project about moles when he was in high school. He titled it Mole Thugs-N-Harmony. This will still occasionally come up when we're out drinking.
