With the Derrick Rose saga likely ending tonight with the probable end of the Bulls season, it begs the question as to who is the biggest coward in Chicago sport history? I think Rose takes the cake in recent history, but who (if anyone) eclipses him?? Let me also add that anyone who has abused a woman or a child totally eclipses cowardice on every level so let's leave these scumbags out of the conversation. |

I'm probably in the minority on this, but implying Rose is a coward is pretty harsh. |

Colin O'Hara He was an Irish immigrant who played club soccer in 1903. He once witnessed 3 woman being attacked and did nothing to stop the attacks despite the fact he was 6'7" and carrying a loaded shotgun at the time. He was so vilified by the local papers that he went into hiding and eventually committed suicide. |

Amaury Telemaco in 1996 or 97 He started a game at Wrigley and lost it emotionally on the mound. Riggleman had to go get him off the mound. |

Carlos Boozer for refusing to play NBA defense. The half-assed swipes he takes at ball-handlers flying past him insult everyone's basketball intelligence. |

Let's not forget when White Sox manager Tony Larussa and a couple of his coaches went to the Sports Vision studios downtown after a game with the intention of beating up senior citizen Jimmy Piersall. |

Dr. Ken Noisewater favorite Brandon Lloyd was openly questioned by his teammates about not playing in games. You rarely see players getting called out by other players about injuries unless they are named Jay Cutler. |

Just because he's a baby sometimes doesn't mean he didn't win a Super Bowl. I think a lot of people would like a baby rather someone who acts more mature but doesn't win. |
