I rode my bike to work once. it's only 12 miles, but the route is purely busy roads in Schaumburg, so it took forever. No thanks. I ride to the store and places like that on the weekends, but to work isn't feasible.

I am not an expert in the Amish religion, but I believe that if any of them tried air conditioning or a car, they would definitely enjoy it.

Especially when they get in large groups, play dress up and do their "Tour De Chicago" where they ignore traffic laws and make life a living hell for drivers.

That is exactly what I am talking about, Willis. It really boils my blood when I practically have to drive into oncoming traffic to avoid these jerks. And if I do the appropriate thing, and mow one of these guys down in order to protect myself and probably my family, I will end up being sued by one of these babies. And who will lose? Oh, the big bad car hit Mr. Jones on his fancy racing Schwinn and tore his bright yellow spandex bodysuit, and crushed his slick helmet and skull. Let us award Mr. Jones huge damages.

what about Red Sox nation

As I understand it, cyclists are supposed to ride single file when riding on roads. In the warm months, there are about a dozen cyclists, all wearing those tight pants, that ride down Mack Rd, in Wheaton and Warrenville. It is a two lane road, that is busy during rush hours, so when they are riding side by side, you can't go more than 20 mph. I would run over every single one of them, if I wouldn't end up in jail.
