What would it be? I don't necessarily mean a mistake you made, but something you'd just do differently. Clearly, if you made a really big mistake you can certainly choose that. Mine is pretty boring. I'd probably spend a year living in a major urban area. I've lived in the suburbs all my life, and I can't help but be jealous when I head into New York City or Chicago and see all the fun and interesting things to do within walking distance or a short ride on public transportation. I'm sure I'd be ready to get out after a year though. |

Would have stuck with my original major for college and not be saddled with the worthless POS degree I have now. |

I have 2 things, and both revolve around school. 1. Stayed in Chicago my senior year of HS and graduated from Von Steuben instead of moving to Rockford. In hindsight, the move was best but I always think of what could have been. 2. Stayed in college (was at Kennedy King at the time) instead of taking first "real" job. I was offered a job that allowed to me to make enough money to move on my own, but the training for the job took place at the same time as my classes. I tried to get the night training, but they would not allow it, so I dropped out with the promise that I'd go back.....13 years later, I still have not gone back. |

Would never have used "I have narcolepsy" or "I'm a cyborg" as pickup lines. |

While there are regrets and wishes that I could have done some things differently, everything has gotten me to this point. The learning, the mistakes, the miscues, the lessons...it's all life. I'd have to say I'd change nothing. |

Biggest thing I would change in my past would be that I would be way more pro active in a few situations from my young adult life. There were a couple instances where I sat back and waited instead of grabbing the opportunity in front of me. |

I always say nothing because I feel I have learned so much from the occasional mistake I make. I believe everything happens for a reason. |

Last year, you posted the following on Facebook: "Sometimes you have to stop worrying, wondering, and doubting. Have faith that things will work out; maybe not how you planned, but just how it's meant to be." That was some of the realest shit I ever read. |
