...and cookie dough.

I will just leave this here for you fine folks to check out....

Charges were dropped against a 20-year-old American university student who says she panicked when undercover agents from the Virginia state's Alcohol Beverage Control division mistook her water purchase for beer.

According to Charlottesville Daily Progress, Elizabeth Daly was walking to her car with a box of sparkling water, cookie dough and ice cream she had just bought from a local supermarket when seven plainclothed agents approached her suspecting the box of sparkling water was a 12-pack of beer.

This is what you get when marijuana smokers continue to demonize water.

She should be lucky she wasn't buying skittles.

7 plainclothes turds for a woman buying groceries. What a total waste of revenue.

So to summarize...

A 20 year old woman (a full grown woman) decided to buy bottled water, and she was confronted by 7 undercover armed law enforcement officials.

This is 1984.

Virginia has historically had a very active alcoholic beverage policing unit--especially since there is a pretty strong, politically connected Christian temperance faction in the state. These undercover operations are pretty frequent. The thing that's funny, though, is that they don't make a concerted effort to go after high-ranking administrators at big universities like UVA (located in Charlottesville), which turn a blind eye to underage drinking on campus.

Rushed her, didn't properly I.D. themselves and then proceeded to try and smash her windows.

In a panic, they girls try and escape and find themselves "grazing" two officers (which means the car touched them) and found themselves in jail, in court and with charges for "assaulting a police officer," in front of them.

7 officers, staking out a grocery store (and possibly tailing this girl?) to make sure no one underage buys beer, but then how did they know she was underage, in the first place? They charged this girl and her friend on a whim and a guess.

Ah, I see. Maybe the Christian temperance faction should want more resources dedicated to preventing rape, robbery and sexual assaults due to alcohol consumption? Why harass and assault adults buying bottled water? That doesn't solve anything.

Let's not forget the drafting of Michael Jeffrey Jordan. And the year that greatness was born, literally.

i wonder what obama thinks about this case. hopefully he is spending hours on it just like the local popo was because obviously this is a huge deal. especially at 20.. thats so close to 21 its just ridiculous to think some girl would actually buy beer. there is no room for this shit in our society, i honestly think they should just abandon the missing child cases and focus that revenue on underage drinking.

A little bit off -- Jaden Smith was born in 1998.
