Schaumburg gas station pumps never malfunction.

The station at Golf/Roselle has the slowest pumps I've ever encountered.

I only go back in the car if it's freezing out. Otherwise, I stand by the pump.

As far as hand on the trigger, I do that only if the latch doesn't work on its own. And a lot of times, the gas cap fits perfectly as the trigger holder.

Is that gas city still there on plum grove and higgins? They have racing fuel there. Once I put a half tank of that into my sunbird. It did not turn it into a race car.

I never stand by the pump when I'm filling up the tank. Always leave it, and return to my car to listen to the stereo. I never paid attention to it until someone pointed it out, but I do seem to be in the minority. Most people stand by the pump, some with their hand on the trigger.

I'm pretty sure that the little thing that keeps pumping gas even when you aren't holding on to it is illegal here. All of the gas stations have removed them. The actual thing is still there but it doesn't have the plate that keeps it up. It's very annoying. I even found one place that had it on a new pump. The next time I went back, it was gone.

Can't pump in NJ either. At least not a little while back.
