| Post subject: | Independence Day |
Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it's fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom... Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution... but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: "We will not go quietly into the night!" We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day! |

Today is my favorite holiday,why? Simple it is inclusive for every citizen of American. Rich or Poor. White or Black or Brown or Yellow. Born here or naturalized. We celebrate and remember when some people who really did not have to decided they wanted to be free from oppression and strike out on their own. To do something never done before in the history of mankind. No King nor potentate but every man equal in the system. I know it was not perfect to start with nor is it now, but look around nowhere else in the world has something like this gone on and thrived like we do. It is also a day to remember that in most of the times we where dragged into conflict with other nations we did not keep captured lands but gave them back or gave them their freedom. Would have been easy at times,it was the way others did it but not us. Most of the time we came not as conquerors but as Liberators. SO have a great ,safe and happy Fourth of July. |

I would like to represent "Boomer" the dog in Independence Day. He would NOT have ignored his surroundings. Instinct. HE would have saved Gabrielle Union. He was indifferent towards Vivica A. Fox.
