I see muggings,bank robberies,assualts that all have one thing in common. The faces are kind of blurry (when seen on the news) BUT if you drive past a Chicago Park going 40 they can grab your plates. I call BULLSHIT! From the TRIB: Mayor Rahm Emanuel's new speed cameras will begin issuing their first warning tickets to Chicago motorists this month near four city parks, with at least eight more locations set to go operational in September, the mayor's office announced today. |

Ah yes, the delicate and difficult task of balancing actually stopping/preventing crime and being a militarized revenue gathering force. I think the police definitely tilt towards the latter. |
