Have a toilet in our basement that doesnt get much use. Unfortunately we have hard water and there are some pretty good caked in stains in the bowl. Anyone know of something that really works to get rid of it? Also anything thats good for removing soap film from around the granite around faucets ? |

What I need you fellas to do is to take those cleaning products and clean the inside of the toilet. I'm talking fast, fast, fast. You need to go in the back tank, scoop up all those little pieces of debris and chipped paint. Get it out of there. Wipe down the upholstery. Now, when it comes to upholstery, it don't gotta be gentleman and span. You don't need to eat off it. Just give it a good once-over. What you gotta focus on are the really messy parts. The pools of blood that have collected, you gotta soak that shit up! Now, Jimmie. We gotta raid your linen closet. I need blankets, I need comforters, I need quilts, I need bedspreads. Thicker the better, darker the better. No whites. Can't use em. We need to camouflage the interior of the car. We need to line the front seat, the backseat and the floorboards with quilts and blankets. So if a cop stops us and starts sticking his big snout in the car, the subterfuge won't last. At a glance, the car will appear to be normal. Jimmie, lead the way. Boys, get to work. |

ugh... why do people promote clr? that shit dont work. lime-away works. empty out the water in the toilet, soak in lime-away for an hour or so, and lightly scrub until brand-new looking. |

Ditto on muriatic acid. Paint section at Menards. Just ensure good ventilation when using it and don't get it on your skin. |

jimmypasta wrote: No disrespect to Badrogue, but maybe buying a new toilet would cut out the elbow grease? None taken James but as I stated we rarely use that toilet so the water sits in the bowl for days on end and if we buy a new one I'm afraid same thing will happen. Ill try a couple of the suggestions and once I get it clean do a better job of being more diligent about flushing and scrubbing it out more often |
