I was pretty confident it was a fake -- at work, we spent roughly 15 minutes analyzing the video and too many things didn't add up -- although I will say, I thought it was going to be a student project or something.

nonetheless, the fact that you couldnt immediately tell it was fake is impressive. im usually a sniper when it comes for phony videos, but i really did think this was real. mainly because college girls (which is what she looked like in the vid) are fucking stupid. the only thing that made me hesitate was at the end she just sat there screaming wile staring at her burning leg, but like i said girls are dumb and i wouldnt be surprised to see one do just that.

Here was our analysis:

* Our main reason was how quickly the video cut off once her leg was on fire. Suspicious.
* When she falls, her left leg goes into the four candles, but when she gets up, there's no fire there, and a ton of fire on the right leg where there was only one candle.
* Turning the music up during the video seems like a thing you would do to prolong the pretext of the video -- the video needs time to sell what is going on before the big plot twist
* The table collapses awfully easily... it would be more likely that she would crack the glass rather than break the frame of the table. If it were a 300 pound man falling, it could be a different story.
* The reaction of the guest seems unlikely -- there's almost a secondary push given to make sure she'll fall over.
