I was telling a couple friends of mine that they should join eHarmony. Would you recommend that for your friends or is Match.com or one of the other sites better?

I met my wife on eHarmony.

For you and your friends, I suggest ChristianMingle. My understanding is that it matches Bible thumpers such as yourself.

I'd kick ass and chew bubble gum and be all out of bubble gum.

You do realize that eHarmony was founded by a Christian psychologist, right?

I used to like picking them up at Simon's and breaking up with them at L&L Tavern.

Yes, but the people actually matched on there tend to be more open minded, unlike yourself, you race-baiting, homophobic, sycophant.

There are all sorts of people on eHarmony. But it is a better site because it takes you at least an hour to fill out a profile and they do a lot work to match you with people who are similar to you. It's not like Match.com, which probably only takes 10 minutes.

I was really surprised to hear you got married honestly. You've inspired me to think there is someone for everyone. Thank you Boyd.

I thought you recognized that this thread was nothing more than MD's normal consumer research thread. He just got a little creative.

There’s a fish called the hatchet fish that electrically lights its anus to blind predators sneaking up from behind. And this blinding light comes from a colony of luminescent bacteria that live in the fish’s rectum. And on the earth there are beetles, wasps, scorpions, horned toads, desert rats and snakes who, during the day, burrow into the sand and live in caves, waiting for evening to come in order to hunt and trap and sting their prey, to grind them in their mandibles and their teeth. And there are leeches who find their way into the ears and urethras of people sleeping by a river, only to expand within with the very blood of their victims, causing agony and terror and ultimately death. And there’s the violin spider, whose web is woven of threads as strong as the strings of a violin meant to trap not only flying insects, but animals moving across the forest floor who, caught in the web and scrambling wildly, find themselves ensnared, as the violin spider spins around and around them, mummifying them in glue like strings that create a painful burning sensation and doom them, while the spider chews at a tender place and begins to suck their blood.

Is there anyone else here besides Boyd who met their spouse or significant other on eHarmony?
