Called 670 a few years ago when Zawaski was doing a Hawks post game. Really don't plan on doing it ever again.

Called in to The Heavy Fuel Crew for Who ya Crappin' back in the day. Crapped Joe Theismann for saying that Dan Marino and John Elway were not good QBs without talent around them. I think Joe was on as a guest somewhere saying that.

Called Mac & Spiegs recently about gas station rage and proper lane usage.

Called North & Jiggs after Bowl a Rama back around '98.

Texted several times...some read, some not.

I called in to MJH back in 2003, they asked if anyone had any social obligations they were going to during the 2003 NLCS to call in. I did, as I got married during game four and was on my honeymoon for the rest of the series (still have no idea what happened. I came back and no one was talking about it)and how we had a plan for being able to watch the game, etc. They said that's great call back in a half hour. I was busy with other stuff and never called in. Guess that's better than being left on hold.

Called in every blue moon to the HFC. Then played in the second "season" Sports Jeopardy.

Thought no one I really knew listened until one game where I couldn't remember the question "Who is Don Newcombe?" Damn old lawer born in Brooklyn gave me crap for that for about a year.

Haven't called into a show since being on Steve & Garry's show in 1984.

Used to email MJH frequently and, while I was no Peoria Matt, I had my stuff read from time to time.

Emailed B&B once and they hacked up the email to mean the opposite of my opinion so I quit.

When I was 17 or 18 I called in the Hawks post game show to talk to Jocelyn Thibault. Never called in a show before so when I actually got on, I got confused and lost my train of thought and ended up asking something really stupid like "How's it feel to be back from a long road trip?". I'm sure my original question wasn't any better.

Ugh. I'm already dreading Sunday. 'Skins absolutely pissed away their last game. Then again, your Iggles have yet to win at home. Eagles 41, Redskins 31.

I see what you did here, the old reverse psychology thing.

What kind of argument did you get into with Mac and Jurko? I hope it was about Clinton Portis

We were talking about what we were looking forward to for the Cubs season. Matt Murton was going to lead them to the promised land.

in the early days of 24 hour Score I called in drunk to one of the overnight shows at about 2 am to bitch that they stopped giving updates on the Hawaii game, which was the last one of the night. The producer and I both got a good laugh about it.

Won on Jurko vs Harry back in 2006.
Won on Sports Jeopardy back in 2010.
Called Mac and Spiegs on a hockey thing back around early 2010.
Called Laurence's show the day Chelios retired.
Got in a Drillrod of the Week email back around 03-04.
Best of all, finished 3rd on the Ultimate Chicago Sports Nut trivia deal the Score did back in 09...had screening questions on M&H and Hit and Run before being on air in person.

They were basically tap dancing on Josh Hancock's grave (I'm a Cardinals fan), before it was known that he was drunk driving. Remember, that wasn't confirmed until a couple days after his death. Jurko said something along the lines of having a Bud Light Beer Bottle Commemorative Day at Busch to celebrate Hancock's death. I called in and said why not have Santo's Prosthetic Leg Day at Wrigley? It got some laughs, but my point was Jurko (and Mac, I think) were celebrating something that should not have been celebrated. My buddies and I were en route to Miller Park that night for Cardinals/Brewers, so they were entertained as they heard it on radio after the delay.
