Because they just "can't" wait another two weeks for something that is a gift.

Get over yourself. You are hereby sentenced to waiting for UPS packages until Christmas Eve with Ike South.

Denied. My dad gives me cash every year, early. It pays for miscellaneous holiday expenses.

Love knowing what other people got me so I can shop accordingly.

Your dad is being generous and kind, though. Seacrest is talking about those who do it clearly for selfish reasons to make themselves feel good. It's almost like bragging about what you got them.

In other words, your dad is doing it because he loves you. Most people do it because they love themselves.

Andre Johnson gave $19,000 in early gifts. What an ego-maniac dickhead.

Why are you celebrating a birthday that you think is made up?

Hey, Seacrest, pick a lane. Either they're the Douchebag of the Week or a Shoutout. Come on!

Makes me feel bad when someone hands me an expensive gift and I got them something, uh, not equivalent.

That's a separate thread.

For the gifts. It's the reason for the season.

Elaine: Oh Kramer... The bench! You got me the bench that I wanted!

Kramer: That's pretty good, huh?

Jerry: Great.

Kramer: Remember when we were standing there and she mentioned it? I made a mental note of it.

Jerry: Well goody for you.

Kramer: Oh yeah, I'm very sensitive about that. I mean, when someone's birthday comes up, I keep my ears open. So what'd you get her?

Jerry: 182 bucks.

Kramer: Cash? You gotta be kidding. What kind of gift is that?
