Pour a half cup of baking soda in to a bowl. Add a full cup of water. That creates wet baking soda. |

Go with the standard block battery with a bolt and wire coiled around it magnet. Pick up paperclips as the eye grabber. But you must have them make a poster board showing they understand how/why it works. |

So when i was in either 3rd 4th or 5th grade we went to Epcot and they had this sweet exhibit about growing plants in water. I decided I would do a hydroponic growth chamber for my science project. I can only imagine what the teachers thought about this looking back on it. I was too young to truly understand the wealth of knowledge gained from this project. |

In 3rd grade I did sketches of Venus over 3 months (showing phases like the moon) proving something we've known for centuries. |

Serious part: Have them do a taste test experiment between generics and brand name foods. Smart ass part: When giving the report, when the teacher or some other adult says, "I can't taste the difference between generic and brand name foods." Have your child respond, "I'm sorry your poor." |

Where did you get the teeth? I think it's between what cleans a penny the best and effects of temp on friction with a hockey puck. I did one when I was little to see if my dog had a favorite dog treat she did. I'd like to do it with our dog too. |
