Heard Bernstine freak out on July 28th when a storm knocked out Terry's ISDN and he heard a wacky caller. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7dJfWvCYFio |

The Caller Anne. I think it was 2001, maybe New Year's Eve. Berns was hosting with Steve Silverman. Her blood pressure was going up, are you crazy? Her and Berns were soulmates because they both hated hockey. Berns does not hate hockey now because his beloved son plays it. He's an expert on all things hockey now. |

Me as well. Also, the first Joe from Evanston call, the first Mike from Milwaukee call, "Steve from Elmhurst/No it's Elmhurst Steve, but I'm in Burbank/So are you in Elmhurst or Burbank, and what do you want?" |

If Berns had any self-awareness at all, he'd do humanity a favor and put a pencil in his neck. |

Also, I remember two producers that would just go on there and talk to people during what was supposed to be " Best of the score" on late Saturday Nights. |

Listening to Joe from Evanston live was an experience I won't soon forget. I remember Ozzie calling the North show and getting dumped. Bears getting Cutler. Mac coming back to the Score and sitting in with B&B. The first use of the James Brown drop. It's surely not a classic moment, but the moment that inspired me to participate here was a day when Dan was off and Matt was filling in with Terry. They were celebrating the forced retirement of some total bitch who did p.r. for the Cubs. Some other woman called to yell at Terry for being mean to her and said "you shut your mouth when you're talking to me, you TV failure." Gold. |

I went to school with a Pannazzo, not Sharon, but a Pannazzo nonetheless. |

The Erik Kramer "Hey, easy pal..." thing with McNeil was...awkward. Mac was upset that Kramer was smiling on the sidelines during a Bears' loss and got a little carried away while interviewing him. Wild Bill winning Sports Jeopardy on the HFC show was pretty entertaining. |

The best was when a caller fooled Nort, by pretending to be Jerry Lewis. |

A very rare one, was the start of a Midday show with North. I think it was when he trying the Wiseguys thing with doug or maybe his own show. They have an OPEN, North doesnt know exactly who will be on the show, or when, talks for 2 minutes and they go to commercial, then the fun starts. North's Mic was still open. Turned down, but still open so under the commercials you could hear North just tearing into the commercials! "THAT OPEN SUCKED! YOU FUCKING SUCK! There IS Nothing there, how do we start a damn show with this crap???.....very under the radar segment, had to have heard live as they would never play it again" |

I recognized it immediately with North and thought Mike was just playing along but no, he was fooled. Great moment. |
