They really need to change these laws. You shouldn't be charged with distributing child pornography for posting a nude photo of YOURSELF online. I don't think it should necessarily be legal for a minor to do that, but there needs to be a lesser charge/penalty. |

A lot of 'Almost Famous' was based on Zeppelin. They refused to play in a thunderstorm for crowd safety and a shoddy stage set up, which is what Russel's electrocution and gate crashing scene was based on. Lori was very much a groupie, and even if she was never "kidnapped" she eventually would have made her own way to Jimmy. She actually became great friends with Jimmy and John Bonham. In 1977 when her and Jimmy were no longer 'together', she was still on tour with them up and down the west coast because she was so close to Bonham and other members of the Zeppelin entourage. In the mid 80s, Jimmy was in LA for something and they hadn't seen eachother for years, yet they ended up leaving whatever social function they were at together and spent the weekend in his hotel room. I'm not saying what he did was right, but he certainly is not a rapist or a pedophile. Pete Townshend is not either. Being as rich and as famous as he was, I doubt he would have served any sort of jailtime. His main fear was being deported, as most of the $ from touring was made in the state. |

I don't recall him ever claiming that the stuff just appeared on his PC. He admitted he went to the site(s) and that he was looking things up for research or whatever. RPB is correct. On the surface, it sounded like a real flaky story but he had been fighting against that sort of stuff for years. |
