Inspired by good dolphin's story about his second place $9K bid for George Wendt Who would you take to a game (living or dead) and why? |

I'd take Abe Lincoln, ask him questions for three hours and then write a book. Assuming Jesus is unavailable of course. Living, hmmm. Tough one. Not really interested in anyone in particular. The Pope. Not Don Pall. |

That's a toss up. Either Vin Scully to a Cubs vs. Dodgers game as a personal announcer or my Grandfather to the Stanley Cup winner in 2010. |

I'd take either Costanza or Eaglo because it looked so pleasant sitting there with another dude drinking wine at a baseball game |

I'd take Jimmy Page to some sort of sports game because its Jimmy freakin Page. If it had to to be a sports guy, I'd take Gary Player to the Masters. Not only would it be at one of the most beautiful courses on Earth, I would pick his brain as much as I could about the game. The stories he has would be awesome. |

I would think it would be great to take the inventor of a sport to a present-day event for that sport. Can you imagine taking James Naismith to a present-day basketball game? Just would be awesome to see his reaction, either positive or negative, to how a simple game has evolved. |

I'd take RFDC to a Purdue/Indiana game, and then have my Purdue friends beat him with a sack full of pennies. |

If RFDC was unavailable, Kirkwood would be a good substitute. |

As someone who lost their Dad at a very young age (or he ran away and Mom was just being nice) I'd choose him. |
