http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/loca ... 6792.story This home was owned by the sister of my fiance's maid of honor, who is getting married in Paris in May. They were supposed to have the her bridal shower at the house this weekend. Nobody was home. An explosion leveled a house on the border between Joliet and New Lenox this afternoon, but no one is believed to have been injured, officials said. The Joliet Fire Department received a call about 2 p.m. reporting a house explosion in the 700 block of Lambeth Lane in unincorporated Will County, Fire Chief Laroy Aldridge said. Nicor was called about 15 minutes later and had personnel on-scene about 2:30 p.m., said Nicor spokeswoman Annette Martinez. "Everyone is accounted for," who lived at the home, Aldridge said. The cause has not been determined but officials believe there was a gas explosion. By the time firefighters got there, "it was basically a demolished structure," Aldridge said. Explosions like the one that hit the home tend to blow themselves out and officials were digging through debris to find out what happened. |

He said that solar is safer, and he is correct. |

As no one was injured or killed... This wouldn't have happened in Schaumburg. |

His post, comes off has N.G. as some new and extremely dangerous technology that isn't fit for domestic use and is killing thousands across the country. And the evil government is pushing it on us helpless citizens who are being incinerated by the dozens every hour. Get a grip, pal. |

Since no one was hurt and the house was most certainly insured, I feel it's relatively safe to say.. cool. Must have been as gas leak, like maybe a flex line to an oven that got pulled out or something. |

Yeah, you gotta pull your line out of the oven before it's too late. |

They actually had their furnace replaced recently. They also called the HVAC company a couple of weeks ago saying that something was wrong, but were told to "not worry about it." |
