I know most people usually work with someone and then something bad happens to them like die suddenly, how do you deal with it.

I was just checking on Facebook, and found out 2 of my co-workers died in a car accident tonight, I knew one more than the other, I do work tomorrow and that's when it could hit more, but now Im more in shock.

Add to this, one was a senior in high school and the other was 21 and just made a department manager.

It is tough. I feel for you. Will definitely be something to deal with. Just really try to place where all the feelings belong.

Had a similar situation about 23 years old. Guy offed himself. Obviously all sad but some that barely knew him transfer that stuff to them and get all bogged down.

Show your respect, process your feelings and if close support other friends. Then keep driving forward dude. Its gonna be a long hard ride.

You deal with it how it feels right to deal with it. There's no wrong way or right way to deal with anything like this.

And please accept my sympathies.

One woman I worked w/ was murdered along w/ most of her family.

Another died in her sleep.

I just kept on doing what I do. It was hard not to think about it, but that's what worked best for me. It's okay to grieve. Hopefully your workplace will get someone to talk to you guys.

That is it rents. If you were close feel how you like. If just the shock of people disappearing deal with it and move along. Sad but really we all have to learn how to do death.

Yep.

Had one co-worker die from a stomach aneurysm and another kill himself after a battle with Heroin. Everyone deals with it in their own way.

Hang in there, reents.

That's a real tough trauma to deal with. Pray, consider asking a professional how best to deal with the situation. You have the prayers and sympathy of our family.

Thank you, all the management came and talked to us, see how we were doing and they were here if we needed anything.

I don't know if this is good or bad, probably bad with timing, but since she was a manager, some of her department would like me to get her job.

Said I'd wait a couple of days before applying.

one of my best friends died in the hospital from complications she dealt with since birth. we were the same age, she was 27 when she died and we met each other at 17, so we were close. always told eachother we will still be friends when were old and gray. 5 years later and it hasnt got any better as far as when i think about her. some things are just bad and thats that. there is no getting over it you just learn to live with it.

Do you work for a small company? I'm surprised they posted the job already.

Friday made 5 years since a good friend of mine was murdered. Still seems like yesterday except my godchildren are big a hell.

No it's not a small company, one of the big retailers, I just have to go to the computer and click that I'm interested, I just didn't want to do it as soon as I got there, so probably Thursday or Friday
