Adam Silver will either come out looking like Sterling Silver if he removes Donald Sterling or his silver plating will come off if he doesn't. |

Doubtful. The authenticity is not even confirmed, and maybe even that is unlikely. Sponsors have pulled out, which is probably a big thing, but still I don't know what solid/legal basis the league has to make such a drastic move. |

It appears to me $1M max fine and some sort of suspension. |

Can't really imagine any significant punitive measure other than him being kicked off the team unofficially, persona non grata, and then the Clippers winning it all. |

Of course, he deserves worse in the court of public opinion. Unfortunately, that court does not rule of the NBA bylaws. |

spmack wrote: You all realize that Spada called Mully and Hanley with this same thought, right? he is right. Now maybe Mark Jackson and his players wont show up in protest. Mark Jackson is the fucking idiot right now. Never liked him anyways, Strickland was always better! Now if the Warriors and clippers agree to not play and just sit at center court, that would be something, because they have the right to do that. Screw up the entire NBA playoffs, would love to see the leagues response. |
