I noticed when I see Rozsival my first thought is Stu Grimson. To a lesser extent Seabrook and Chelios.
You guys ever do that?

I don't think of Barry as #20 cause I prefer to remember him from his junior year at OSU when I first discovered him as I was a freshman down the road at Oklahoma. I went to the first game of the year at OU, was bored out of my mind. Went home, turned on the tv and caught the OSU game and a little known junior former return man turned RB named Barry Sanders, #21. After that game I never went to an OU game again, instead opting to stay in and watch OSU games all season.

Followed Barry to whatever team he was going to end up with and unfortunately for both of us had to endure 10 years of being a diehard Lions fan.

The most excited I was during Barry's NFL career was when his contract was expiring and all I could think about was where he would go next and actually be on a real team. The Redskins looked like a good bet. Instead he re upped for 7 years with the Lions, played 1 season of the new contract and then realized what a horrible mistake he made and quit the game for good rather than spend another 6 years in hell.

In all of Barry's seasons in Detroit they drafted an offensive lineman in the first round a grand total of 1 time. He was pretty damn good too, HOF Willie Roaf, but of course the Lions traded him on draft day to New Orleans for Pat Swilling.

i still contend to this day that the Lions during Barry's era were teh worst run franchise in the history of pro sports, moreso than others who vie for that title because the Lions had in their possession the greatest RB to ever play the game and they did nothing to help him out.

Fucking travesty.

And yet you live in Chicago where the Cubs play.

Every time i see the number 0 I think of the number of championships that the Cubs have won in the last 105 years.
