I find that whole movement pretty stupid for obvious reasons.

However, the one thing I couldn't come up with a good explanation for was "Why should a man ever get married?". In pretty much every divorce I've known the man gets the worse end of the settlement. The issues with kids don't really matter because they would be roughly equivalent.

I'm not advocating that we should get together and boycott marriage but it is just an interesting point.
