Post subject:  Identity crisis!!
According to Erik Erikson I might turn to crime or drugs and have an inability to make defining choices about the future.


My youngest starts school full time I about 9 hours and I really haven't done much else for almost a decade. What do I do with my free time?

Be creative.

Paint, write, scrapbooking, something.... plant a garden or take up yoga. An enriching activity that will have positive effects on you and those in your life.

That will take care of one morning per week while he is in school. Part time work can be another way to stay busy.

My wife is in the same situation. She wants to do some part time freelance editorial jobs. That stuff pays so poorly, I don't think it's worth the bother.

Or learn to teach Yoga (pretty sure its like a 6 hour course) and give lessons at the house. Make money, stay in shape, be at one with the yoga gods or whatever all that bullshit is.

the truth is, there is still plenty to do domestically. The house should be spotless, there should be a home cooked meal every night and the kids should have perfect homework.
