I hear Hampton and Holmes referenced as the worst show often. It was bad but was it the worst show we've had?
My vote goes to Rosenbloom and Salisbury. That was beyond brutal. Uncle Rico was the trifecta of dumb, out of town, and obnoxious.
Course there's always Chet and the Champ. Wow. Bad.

never heard any of the webio.

Hamp and Holmes was so bad it cannot be anything but the worst show ever. Two worse hosts I have never heard in the same studio before. At least Rosie got to light up Sean every once in a while.

I loved the Wise Guys show and liked Doug and J-Hood but when Telander joined that show it was a tough listen. He's by far the most boring guy I've ever heard.

I'd say Salisbury and Rosenbloom was an extreme triumph in mediocrity because of Uncle Rico, whereas Hampton and Holmes really was a team effort of suck.

None of these are close to the worst. Who can forget the Joe Cain experiment? Steven Berger? Maya Gavin? Les?

As one of the CSFMB's few, not-proud livebloggers of Steven Berger Doing Live Local Sports Talk Radio For You On The Radio In The City Of Chicago, Illinois, I feel pretty confident that that was the worst.

Joe Cain went so bad, it is legendary! Maya tried, but being that she didnt know shit about sports, made the show tough to do, but dont let that get in the win of someone giving her a winning nomination in a contest. did anyone else speak english in that contest.

I was sorta thinking about this in the car today. Salisbury and Rosenbloom was the worst. A close second was Silvy and Marriotti.

I never heard webio, Hamp n Holmes is the worst show I've had the misfortune to hear in my 35 years on this planet

I'm trying hard to think back on Hampton & Holmes, but I don't remember much. There was failed signature segment "Who's Been Taking Hits Off Michael Phelps's Bong?", of course, and there was Hampton being a doofus, but what I remember most of all from that era was how Leery would try to "troll" Bulls fans who thought the Bulls could beat the Celtics in the first round of the '09 playoffs. He'd open shows with "yeah, Celtics beat the Bulls like I knew they would! What do you think of that, clowns? HUH, CLOWNS?!? LET'S GO!" He would even show up on Kaplan's show wearing Celtics clothing because he was such a tr011.

Anything with Murph. Even other shows that played ads for his show dropped a notch in respectability for that given day.

Murph had an annoying voice and some annoying tendencies, but he worked pretty damn hard to put on his show. It was a mediocre show, all things considered, but it had its audience (used to trounce Dan Patrick) and it was consistent. Compare with Boers & Bernstein, where Dan crows about how he rolls into work from the gym with no show prep, though this makes him just as likely to put on a hysterical show as he is to provide the entertainment equivalent of a bomb threat.

Yeah I'll give you that. Though I hated it, it was indeed a "show" as opposed to open mic during drive time nowadays, or hide and seek during mid days.

The HUGE Show was terrible. Two knobs trying to act like badasses.

Carmen & Jurko is by far the worst.. I still can't believe Carmen is paid to be entertaining.. He is so boring..

I was listening to their show today, and Fred & Murph were on... Murph is fuckin funny! Never listened to him back when he had his own show.. I missed out.. Really hard to understand why Carmen would have a show, while Murph sits at home most days..

I loved Carmen and silvy. Carmen was okay in the evening with jd or hood too.

I like Fred and murph but I think it's because of Fred. It's nice for Saturday or Sunday errands.

I dont understand why Carmen and Silvy got broke up. Were the ratings that bad? A suck show with good ratings always stays on the air.

I miss reading the HUGE thread.

Hampton and Holmes were the worst. And I don't completely hate Holmes, but oh my God.

I'll also second Chus' North, Maxfield and Huebner.
